He spent a year studying and working in the Department of Ergonomics at the University of Zurich. Whilst in Zurich he assisted Prof E Grandjean in his work on computer keyboard and screen design. His work with Prof E Grandjean gave him an insight into the working environment and it’s effect on physical health.
He then gained a scholarship to study at the world renowned British School of Osteopathy, London. He qualified in 1986 and later took the position of clinical tutor at the school.
Cameron moved to Norfolk in 1988 where he set up his own practice. The practice specializes in back pain, sports injuries and their prevention. Chosen as Osteopath for Sport England in the East Anglian Region, he has built up a reputation which attracts patients of all ages from near and far. Cameron is Osteopath to Norwich City FC, in the Premiership.
With over 26 years of experience treating people of all ages and fitness levels he developed the “Cameron Reid Method”. This involves working with patients to help them prevent problems and teaching them simple exercises to help with healing and mobility. The approach allows for patient recovery using a simple method that can be practised at work and home.
